MEET FABIO
Once upon a time, Fabio weighed nearly 30 stone (he also had hair)! It took a health problem to make him realise it was time to change. And so he did.
IF YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO IT, YOU CAN...
Brazilian born Fabio has been living in London for the last 17 years. With a background in banking, it took long enough for him to decide that he needed a change of career – working his way from waiting on tables to chasing his goal of becoming a personal trainer. But it wasn’t passion that led him to it, it was the desire to spread a message that if you put your mind to it, you can.
Once upon a time, Fabio weighed nearly 30 stone (he also had hair)! It took a health problem to make him realise it was time to change. And so he did.
On that journey, he had a few too many injuries and decided that the message was getting louder – it was time to make it possible for other people to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Slowly people started approaching him to discuss ideas, ask for and give tips, teach and learn. Some of them started training with Fabio through word of mouth and gradually, more people came around.
Sports & Exercise Science and Strength & Conditioning are two areas that Fabio holds a degree in. And he is now pursuing a degree in Data Science.
If you can get past the accent, you will meet a kind soul who is just like you and, as such, wants to make things better for as many people as possible. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo (STF) and has over 25 years of coaching, treating, changing and having a laugh with people who like barbells, dumbbells and burpees.
Fabio relies on a broad and healthy network of trainers, strength coaches, sports scientists, physiotherapists, manual therapists and baristas (because without a good coffee there’s little cognitive activity before 10am) to deliver the best personal training regimes to his clients.
